Main Street Smart Cities began with a simple shift: turning trauma into purpose. A personal loss became a commitment to help others find connection during difficult days through thoughtful use of technology. That foundation led to Project Piercing Glimpse, a five-year review of Main Street’s readiness for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The analysis revealed a clear truth. Legacy systems are not adapting fast enough to support the future. This insight led to Project Releasing Fulcrum, focused on helping individuals use AI and robotics to expand their capacity and improve performance. Together, these efforts reflect a grounded vision for Main Street, where progress comes from learning, adapting, and giving people the tools to move forward.

Main Street Smart Cities began when I moved from St. Paul to Carlsbad in July 2015. A new sales position helped me transition from selling radio advertising to supporting corporate giants with their Sitecore CMS campaigns. That role deepened my understanding of the world’s leading marketing technology.
During my first year away from home, I attended technology conferences across the nation. Those events gave me the space to begin forming the early mental blueprints for the Future of Main Street.
The first step was developing a plan to help individuals overcome trauma and self-imposed limitations. The vision became a story of how one person, with a larger lever at the Fulcrum Point, could radically improve their performance. The future is not only about AI and robots. It is about what one person can accomplish in a lifetime. It is time to dream big again. The American Dream is back, and it is bigger than ever.

The Main Street Smart Cities story begins with the tragic death of Todd's fiancée the week of their wedding day. The taking of her own life pushed me into many years of mental trauma.

The following years helped me push people away. The plan worked, but I became increasingly isolated. My early work explored how VR could help overcome these powerful emotions.

COVID provided me the space to publish my second and third books on Christmas Star Day on December 20th, 2021. These books laid the foundation for using tech to help others move forward.

These books and online courses helped me unsuccessfully launch VR Prayers (Ministry) during the COVID years. However, they paved the way for the 'Future of Main Street.'

Project Piercing Glimpse was a five-year review of Main Street America's ability to effectively transition into the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The analysis validated that a new generation of leaders is required for the 'Future of Main Street.' It's time for a city's legacy leaders and systems to either massively change or finally retire. It's not a question of right vs left. It's new thinking vs. breaking legacy systems that are no longer working.
LEADERSHIP CRISIS
The most striking analysis is Main Street's inability to quickly adapt to new technology. This leadership crisis has not properly prepared their communities for what is coming next.
A NEW GENERATION OF LEADERS
Early adopters will shortly connect with a new generation of emerging leaders to repeat history by leveraging innovative ideas and new technologies. The tectonic wave of change will impact education, retail, restaurants, hotels, healthcare, and government.

Project Piercing Glimpse explored key innovations, leadership shifts, and patterns from past eras to better prepare communities for future change.

Project Piercing Glimpse evaluated how to inspire early adopters by identifying clear opportunities, removing barriers, and showing how individuals can lead change.

It explored connecting early adopters with emerging leaders by creating shared learning experiences, aligning goals, and building partnerships.

Letting go of what is not working requires reevaluating legacy systems, releasing outdated structures, and new ideas.

REALIGNMENT WITH MAIN STREET HISTORY
SHOCK THE SYSTEM

The Main Street Smart Cities story begins with Todd's fiancée, who took her own life the week of their wedding day.

The mental health trauma sent unresolved. However, the idea of using VR to help others during dark days was born in Carlsbad.

Todd worked diligently to publish his second and third books on Christmas Star Day. An event that happens every 800 years.
