It connects major national changes with the local people, businesses, transportation, industries, and new ideas that helped build the community. The story shows how this era helped shape the foundation for La Mesa’s future. Residents and visitors explore this history through Breezy Super Intelligence (SI), the Main Street History Guide. Breezy SI helps people discover how new technology changed everyday life. Technology Stations throughout area restaurants, hotels, retail stores, and gas stations bring these stories directly into the community through historic images and interviews with historians.

The campaign works alongside the San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce, East County Chamber Foundation, and regional historical societies. Together, we are bringing La Mesa’s history into everyday community spaces while connecting the Rise of Main Street with the Future of Main Street.
